Splashes of Grace

Splash!  Have you ever stood too close to the side of a pool when someone did a cannonball?  Or next to a large waterfall?  If so, you know what I mean by splash: to become spattered about:  to spread or scatter in the manner of splashed liquid.  To be splashed can be messy, like from a car driving through a puddle, but it can also be refreshing, like cool water on a hot day.  The latter is the kind of splash I am talking about here.

The other day, a friend shared how she was inadvertently blessed.  In witnessing a blessing someone else received, she was blessed too!  She was not the intended target, but God showered her any way.  How great is that!  You don't even have to have a direct hit to be blessed!

God is so good and His grace so amazing, that even its splashes have far reaching effects!  We may not always know how far the ripples of our actions reach on this earth, just as others may not know how they effected us, but some day we will see fully.  For now it is our job to trust and obey.  So until that day, be attentive to what is happening around you...you just might get splashed by grace!
